Time for a 'Spring' in your step.. 👋🏼

Every January, not just the pandemic kind, usually end up steering very much off course and straying from the plan we had in mind.


We only have ourselves to blame really..


For some reason, we very firmly believe that when we go to bed on the 31st of December, we will somehow manage to wake up a;


Smoothie making,

Downward dogging (yoga.. relax 😏),

Novel reading,

Daily Journaling,

Manifesting,

Meat free, Dairy free, Sugar free,

'at one with our higher selves'


GOD(DESS)!!!

with abs.


Now when we examine this thought (to basically change our entire daily routine, mindset and therefore overall personality and life), it is quite easy to spot the insanity..

But it's a traditional insanity.. we'd hate to stop now.


FEBRUARY 1ST

The 'Do-Over', the tequila shot of reality that hits you with no salt or lime, right in the back of the throat.

I HAVE FAILED MY RESOLUTIONS.

Well there goes 2021, maybe next year..


Let us approach February with the compassion and understanding that January deserved from us, but we left it on read and started daydreaming about it's younger sister.. January 2022.


Set yourself ONE GOAL this month.

Just the one.

Numero uno.


Write it down.


Write out a plan as to how you are going to introduce this goal into your life..

..Because Karen, you cannot go from 0 to 100 overnight.

So plan the gradual journey that you will take to achieve this goal.

Pitter-Patter baby steps.


In this life, a slow and steady process is sustainable. Whether it is weight loss, weight gain, reading a book a month, journaling, meditating, texting your mother back for once..


Do not set the bar so high.


Improve your reality and lower your expectations.
